http://feeds.wired.com/~r/wired/index/~3/lCzqjGTbMYY/ via Byline DeviantArt debuts a new browser-based drawing tool created entirely with web standards. Muro works in all modern browsers, and you can dive in and start drawing on a blank canvas, all without Flash or any other plug-in.
I've checked out their drawing system, and it's actually not half bad for a web app. It's certainly no Photoshop (or even GIMP), but it has a good basic set of features, including a few interesting animated brushstrokes. Definitely worth a look, and an impressive look at what HTML5 can do.
