The FBI is putting the pressure on ISPs to keep logs of what user do online, and then to keep these records for at least two years. FBI Director Robert Mueller is calling for the retention of user “origin and destination information.” More here.

    Datamining EVERYONE in the US sounds like a load of bull to me. If they want to pin down terrorists, they should be looking somewhere else. Because god knows right before a terrorist strikes, he’ll update his twitter, check his email one last time, and play a flash game while he waits for his explosives to detonate.
